Healing is more than a service - it’s a sacred collaboration between body, spirit, and intention.

Is Energy Healing right for you?

Restore your energy & renew your soul with an energy healing session curated just for you. At Luna & Soul, we offer gentle energetic realignment that soothes the nervous system and reawakens the light within using Polarity, Reiki Healing, and Craniosacral Therapy. Through hands-on or distance healing, universal energy flows where its needed most - easing tension, lifting emotional weight, and guiding you back into harmony.

Every session is an all-inclusive experience. I naturally integrate elements like grounding crystals, intuitive card pulls, or botanical anointing based on what your nervous system needs that day. These aren't "extras"—they are the foundation of how I work.

  • Why choose between physical relief and energetic peace? This is my personal favorite for deep resets. We use therapeutic massage to untie the physical knots and energetic modalities to address the emotional ones. It’s a holistic "everything" session that honors the fact that your muscles and your spirit are always talking to each other.

  • Energy doesn’t mind a little bit of travel. If you’re cozy at home or miles away from the Twin Cities, this virtual session brings the healing to you. We’ll connect digitally to clear the heavy lifting from your biofield, leaving you feeling refreshed and light without you having to leave your favorite armchair.

  • Sometimes the soul just needs a soft place to land. In this fully clothed, in-person session, we work together to smooth out the energetic static and balance your chakras. It’s a quiet, hands-on (or hands-off, your choice!) space designed to help you feel grounded, aligned, and back at home in your own body.

  • Think of this as energetic healing with a side of Earth magic. After we balance your energy, we’ll spend some time chatting about how plants can support your progress. You’ll leave not just with a regulated nervous system, but with personalized herbal recommendations to keep that "Reiki glow" going all week long.

Myofascial Release isn't about kneading the muscles like dough; it’s about applying gentle, sustained pressure to "melt" the restrictions in that bodysuit. It’s a slow-motion technique that waits for your body to give the "okay" to let go.

Through slow, sustained pressure and mindful stretching, this session helps release stuck fascia, find the hidden root causes of pain, hydrate your insides, and regulate your nervous system.

  • For the days when the world feels like "too much." This session is specifically paced for those navigating high stress or trauma. With a focus on grounding and slow-tempo energy work, we help your body move out of "fight-or-flight" and into a safe, restorative state of rest. You are in total control; I’m just here to hold the space.

  • Ready to tap into your own healing hands? As a Reiki Master Teacher, I love helping others find their spark. Whether you’re looking for Level I, II, or Master attunements, or just some heart-centered mentorship for your own practice, let’s get you started on your own path of energy work.

As always, you are the boss of your body. All sessions are built on your comfort and ongoing consent.

Common questions about Reiki:

  • Reiki is a gentle but profound way to hit the "reset" button on your internal system. While every person’s experience is unique, the most common benefits include:

    • Deep Nervous System Regulation: It moves your body out of "survival mode" (fight-or-flight) and into a state of restorative rest where true healing can happen.

    • Emotional & Mental Clarity: Many clients find that Reiki helps "clear the static," making it easier to process emotions, reduce anxiety, and quiet a busy mind.

    • Physical Relaxation: By lowering stress hormones, Reiki can help alleviate tension-related issues like headaches, poor sleep, and general fatigue.

    • A Sense of Alignment: It’s a dedicated time to reconnect with yourself, leaving you feeling more grounded, centered, and "at home" in your body.

Whether we’re working in person or across the miles, the goal is always the same: to help you find your way back to your own inner peace.

  • Think ease and comfort. Whatever makes you feel relaxed is perfect. For sessions that include massage, clothing that allows you to change easily would be best.

  • Welcome to Luna & Soul! Your therapist will greet you and guide you into your treatment room where you will do an intake. This is where you and your therapist will agree on a treatment plan for that session and this time can include a moment of centering and grounding. When you’re ready, your therapist will step out and allow you time to get comfortable on the table. You are able to get under the blanket and top sheet. They will knock before re-entering the room to ensure you’re ready. Your session can begin at this time.

  • Preparing for Reiki is all about creating a "soft landing" for yourself. To get the most out of our time together, I recommend the following:

    • Hydrate: Drink plenty of water before and after our session. Energy work is a bit like a deep-tissue massage for your spirit, and staying hydrated helps your system process the shifts.

    • Dress for Comfort: You’ll remain fully clothed, so wear something soft and cozy that allows you to breathe easily and relax completely.

    • Eat Lightly: Try to avoid a heavy meal right before we meet so your body can focus on relaxation rather than digestion.

    • Set a Small Intent: You don’t need a grand plan, but taking a moment to think about what you’d like to "put down" or "pick up" during our session can help ground the experience.

    • Give Yourself Buffer Time: If possible, try to give yourself 5–10 minutes after the session before jumping back into a busy schedule or a stressful commute.

    • Zero Expectations: You don't have to "do" anything special during the session. If you fall asleep, lose track of time, or your stomach growls—congratulations, you’re human and you’re relaxing!

  • Reiki continues to work through your system long after you leave the table. To support your body and spirit as they integrate the session, here are a few tips:

    • Hydrate Mindfully: Just like massage, Reiki can be a detoxifying experience for your system. Drinking plenty of water helps your body process the shifts and keeps you feeling clear.

    • Create a "Quiet Zone": If possible, avoid jumping straight into a loud grocery store or a high-stress meeting. Give yourself an hour or two of "buffer time" to let the peace settle in.

    • Be Gentle with Your Emotions: It’s perfectly normal to feel a range of things after Reiki—from total bliss to a bit of "emotional tenderizing." Neither is wrong; just notice what comes up without judgment.

    • Eat Grounding Foods: If you feel a bit "spacey" or lightheaded, eating something warm and earthy (like root vegetables, nuts, or a warm soup) can help bring you back down to earth.

    • Journal Your "Sparks": If you had any specific thoughts, images, or "aha!" moments during the session, jot them down. They are often clues from your intuition that are worth revisiting later.

There is no 'right' way to feel after Reiki. Whether you feel like taking a long nap or cleaning your entire house, listen to that impulse. Your body knows exactly how to use the energy we moved today.

  • In a Reiki session, you are not legally required to disclose your full medical history in the same way you might for a surgical procedure or a physical therapy assessment. Reiki is a non-invasive, energetic practice that does not involve diagnosis or the manipulation of deep tissue.

However, from a trauma-informed and heart-centered perspective, sharing certain information can help me tailor the session to your comfort and safety.

    What is helpful to share:

    • Physical Comfort: If you have a recent injury, chronic pain, or a condition that makes lying flat on your back uncomfortable (such as late-stage pregnancy or a respiratory issue), letting me know allows me to adjust your positioning with bolsters or pillows.

    • Sensory Sensitivities: If you are sensitive to touch, scents, or specific sounds, this is vital information for a practitioner focused on nervous system regulation.

    • Emotional Safety: Because Reiki can sometimes facilitate an emotional release, sharing if you are currently navigating a high-stress period or a trauma recovery process helps me hold space for you more effectively.

What you don't need to share:

    • Specific diagnoses, medication lists, or private medical records are entirely your business. Reiki works with your body’s natural ability to balance itself, regardless of a specific medical label.

    The Luna & Soul Approach

In my practice, your agency and privacy come first. Any "intake" we do is a collaborative conversation. You only ever need to share what feels safe and relevant to your relaxation. We can focus entirely on the energetic "reset" without diving into your clinical history if that is your preference.

  • Trauma-informed Reiki is an approach to energy healing that integrates the principles of trauma-informed care into the traditional Reiki practice. While standard Reiki is already known for being gentle and non-invasive, a trauma-informed practitioner takes extra steps to ensure that the session is physically and emotionally safe, predictable, and entirely under your control.

Instead of just focusing on "moving energy," this approach prioritizes nervous system regulation, helping you move out of "survival mode" and into a state where your body feels safe enough to heal.

Core Pillars of a Trauma-Informed Session

    • Ongoing Collaborative Consent: Consent isn't just a signature on a form. Your practitioner will check in before moving to new hand placements or transitioning between different parts of the session. You have the right to change your mind or stop at any time.

    • Predictable Environments: Trauma-informed work removes the "guesswork." Your practitioner will explain exactly what they are doing before they do it, ensuring there are no surprises that might startle your nervous system.

    • Total Agency & Choice: You are the boss of your body. This includes choosing whether you want hands-on touch or hands-off energy work, what music is played (if any), and even if you’d prefer to have your eyes open or closed.

    • Safe Space for Somatic Release: Sometimes energy work can trigger emotional memories or physical sensations. A trauma-informed practitioner is trained to "hold space" for these experiences without judgment, helping you stay grounded rather than overwhelmed.

    • Focus on Grounding: These sessions often emphasize "grounding" techniques (like focusing on the feet or using weighted blankets) to ensure you feel connected to the present moment and your physical surroundings.

    Why It Matters

For individuals navigating PTSD, anxiety, or past physical trauma, a standard wellness environment can sometimes feel vulnerable or unpredictable. A trauma-informed approach removes those barriers, ensuring that the healing process itself never feels like an additional stressor.

In my own practice, I find that this approach is the "gold standard" for everyone—because everyone deserves to feel completely safe and empowered when they are on the healing table.

  • Absolutely not. You are never required to disclose your personal history or speak about past experiences to receive trauma-informed care. In fact, a core pillar of the Luna & Soul philosophy is that your story belongs entirely to you.

Here is how privacy and boundaries work in a trauma-informed session:

    • No "Narrative" Required: Unlike talk therapy, the goal of trauma-informed bodywork is to help your nervous system feel safe in the present moment. We focus on the "here and now" of your physical comfort rather than the "then and there" of your history.

    • Privacy as a Priority: You don’t need to provide a label or a reason for needing a trauma-informed approach. Many clients choose this style of Reiki or massage simply because they value a higher standard of consent and a more predictable, gentle environment.

    • Non-Verbal Communication: If you ever feel overwhelmed during a session, you don’t even have to explain why. We can use simple non-verbal cues (like a hand signal) to pause, change the pressure, or end the session—no questions asked.

    • You Set the Pace: You are the expert on your own body. If there are certain areas you don’t want touched or specific transitions that make you uneasy, you can state those boundaries without needing to justify them with a back-story.

Your sessions here are about your comfort in the present moment. You never have to share your story or explain "why" you prefer a trauma-informed approach. We focus on your current nervous system regulation and physical boundaries—your privacy is always held in the highest regard.

This approach ensures that the healing space remains a sanctuary where you can let go of the "heavy lifting" without having to revisit it verbally.

  • The goal of Reiki isn't to create a dependency on the practitioner, but to help you reconnect with your own internal guidance. I always encourage you to check in with yourself after a session—your intuition is the best compass for when you’re ready for your next visit. Here are some common ways to structure your care:

    • For General Maintenance (The "Monthly Tune-up"): Once every 4–6 weeks is a great rhythm for most people. This helps keep your nervous system regulated and clears out the "energetic static" of daily life before it accumulates.

    • During High-Stress Periods or Transitions: If you are navigating a major life change, grief, or an intense project, you might find benefit in coming once a week or every two weeks for a short period (typically 3–4 sessions) until you feel more grounded.

    • For Chronic Issues or Deep Work: When addressing long-standing emotional patterns or chronic fatigue, an initial "intensive" of 3 sessions spaced close together (within 2–3 weeks) can help create a strong foundation for healing.

    • As Needed (The "SOS" Approach): Some clients prefer to book a session whenever they feel "off," spacey, or physically exhausted. Reiki is a wonderful tool for those moments when you just need to hit the pause button.

  • This is your time to rest, relax, and receive care. You can talk, be silent, or even fall asleep during your session. Your therapist will follow your lead so that you can be completely comfortable.

  • Sometimes you need to ask questions specific to you. That’s perfectly fine! Please text or call 612-471-3593. We’ll respond as soon as we can.
